Discovery walk with llamas/alpacas

With family or friends, come and discover the joy of walking alongside a llama or an alpaca. A moment of respite with these amazing animals! But it is also a moment of connection with the animal.

These walks require respect for certain rules. Llamas and alpacas are very different from our equine friends (donkeys and ponies), they are creatures that are not handled in the same way and who do not have the same attitudes.

Aurélie will guide you through the handling in order to gain confidence. Then she will take you for a walk through the beautiful countryside surrounding her farm.

Here are some details to help you prepare a nice, comfortable ride for everyone:

The walks are done with one animal for 2 people for children from 6 to 10 years old or small to ensure the comfort of the participants and the animals. Those over 10 years old can be entrusted with an animal alone, however it is recommended that an adult is always available to accompany the child if necessary. Aurélie will adapt the choice of animals according to the composition of the group.

Children under 6 years old do not hold the animals' leashes but still participate in the walk and in the discussions about and with the animals. Aurélie adapts this rule according to the predispositions of each child and can modulate if the instructions are well understood by the child(ren).

Free for children under 6 years old accompanied by an adult who is free of his hands. Maximum 2 children under 6 years old per group. It is essential to have 1 adult with free hands to take care of these children during the walk. The accompanying adult will not have an animal to hold, but rotations between adults are possible at any time during the outing.

All adults must reserve an entry.

Children under 6 must be indicated in the reservation even if it is free for them.

Babies will need to be carried during the walk, strollers are not suitable for the paths taken.
